We are currently hiring for the following position:
Molding Department Laborer - Sinter
Classification: Non - Exempt
Base Salary Range: $16.50 -$18.50 per hour
Department: Molding Department
Reports To: Molding Supervisor
Position Review
This position assists the Molding Department personnel on a variety of tasks in order to help the continuous production of quality parts produced to be ready for inventory. It also assists in maintaining a clean and organized work environment. This position has the primary duty of assisting with sintering and de-binding functions but will be asked to perform light duties in Molding to cross train on the various machines.
Duties Include:

Operate manual machines
-
Stage parts for sintering
-
Load and unload parts in and out of the furnaces

Prepare parts for de-bind
-
Trim parts
-
Sort product with accuracy
-
Create tags and documents
-
Write counts on inventory logs with accuracy
-
Clean department by sweeping, vacuuming floors, and wiping down machines on a scheduled basis

Load Sintering Programs correctly into the computer and start the furnaces once properly trained

Work with and around various chemicals and gasses safely

Perform Data entry with accuracy

Other duties as assigned
Minimum Job Requirements
-
High School Diploma or it’s equivalent preferred
-
Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within the manufacturing field

Knowledgeable in the metric system
-
Experience with in machine operation, preferred
-
Able to work flexible/overtime hours as early as 4:30 am and potentially some Saturdays

Self-motivated, goal oriented and high level of integrity
-
Ability to focus, work and accomplish goals under minimal supervision
Physical & Mental Requirements

Must be able to perform duties while standing thru-out an (8) hour shift excluding breaks and lunches

Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs

Must be able to keep a consistent pace thru-out an (8) hour shift, excluding breaks and lunches

Must be able to bend below waist level

Must be able to reach arms above head

Must have manual dexterity

Must be able to see and focus on small parts produced

Must perform duties in a safe manner while exercising and displaying common sense while working with moving parts, chemicals, and gases.

Must be able to understand, remember and apply oral and /or written instructions or other information
