We are currently hiring for the following position:

Administrative Office Assistant​

Classification: Non - Exempt

​

Base Salary Range: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour

 

Department: Administration / Human Resources

 

Reports To: Human Resource Manager

 

Schedule: Monday - Friday (Day Shift) 

​

Position Review

The primary goal of this position is to assist the Administrative, Accounting, and Human Resource team with a variety of office duties.

​

Duties Include:

  • Answer phones and greet visitors

  • Scan and file documents

  • Prepare and mail monthly statements

  • Assist Accounts Receivable Specialist with a variety of duties, such as account collection and customer assistance.

  • Assist Human Resource Manager by preparing insurance packets and assisting with the new hire onboarding process.

  • Maintain employee birthday and anniversary lists and distribute congratulatory cards and gifts.

  • Assist Administrative Manager with various accounts payable duties, such as mailing payables and filing receipts as well as work with Events Coordinator on company functions and celebrations.

  • Assist Purchasing Manager – MRO purchases and data entry

  • Other duties as assigned

 

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Requires High School Diploma / GED

  • Associates Degree in general education preferred

  • PC and Data entry skills including MS Excel and Word

  • Bilingual in Spanish

  • Detail and goal-oriented

  • Must be able to take direction

  • Multitasker and self-motivated

  • Adherence to the company’s attendance policies

  • Honest, trustworthy and reliable

 

Physical & Mental Requirements:

  • Must have the ability to pick, pinch and type.

  • Must be able to extend hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction

  • Must be able to see the PC screens; detect color coding, read fine print, and/or normal type size print.

  • Must have the ability to understand, remember and apply oral and/ or written instructions or other information.

  • Ability to organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology.

  • Ability to organize and prioritize own work schedule

  • Ability to apply common sense in performing job

  • Ability to complete routine forms, use existing form letters, and/or conduct routine oral communication.

  • Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, divide and record, balance, and check results for accuracy.
